Rick and his wife were more than accommodating to us on our family vacation. We come here every year and are never disappointed. Their cabins, lake access, and recreational areas provide a relaxing vacation where you can enjoy yourselves without all the hustle and bustle of every day. It is peaceful and quiet. There is access to fishing boats, kayaks, water floats, campfire with wood provided and an exceptional view overlooking the lake. You will not be disappointed in your stay!

We love our vacations at the Villas. It's so peaceful, beautiful scenery around the lake, we saw Eagles and loons. We loved kayaking in the morning seeing all the wildlife. The hosts are amazing, we will be coming back!

Beautiful setting , updated clean cabins , free kayaking, free fire Wood , yard games , clean swimming area , boat house great Gathering place for cards and games , always adding value year After year , very kid friendly , been coming here for years with my Friends and family now our grand kids are coming up also , great Hidden Gem in up north near Wellston , also really nice golf courses near by - 30 min - hosts are really nice people

My family had been coming to Pine Lake for years for family reunions. This year my friends and I decided to rent a cabin for my birthday, and what an amazing decision it was. The Pine Lake Cabins are in a gorgeous location, are surrounded by quiet woods, and the lake is absolutely stunning throughout the day. Theres also plenty to do including kayaking, row boating, hiking, relaxing, and more. The owners, Rick and Marie (and their dog Sinja of course) are some truly wonderful people. Very much recommend staying here!!

We all enjoyed our stay at Pine Lake cabins! It was a great time and the cabin was very cozy! The little things we could do around Pine Lake Cabins made it the perfect gateway from our fast paced lives. We all appreciate our stay there and will for sure be back!

We have been staying at Pine Lake Cabins for 30 years Spring summer and fall outings. Rick and Marie are the Best many added benefits to this rental , free kayaks , fire wood , beach house and many more , lots of parking , beautiful Lake great for all types of water sports , not busy at all Clean remodeled cabins - the hosts think of everything Can’t say enough good things - best kept secret in northern Michigan - all seasons fun also on the ATV trails mist People book year to year to ensure they get their dates - we see the same folks each time we stay -10/10 ??

We booked Cabin 2 for a short two-night getaway very easily online. The space was clean and all the amenities worked perfectly! It was pretty quiet in the area so we did not feel disturbed at all. On a warmer and less windy day I would have used the rowboat or kayaks that were available to us, but alas we were short on time as well. I would definitely book one of the cabins again for a longer stay!

My sister and I stayed at this resort for 4 nights and 5 days. The cabin was very clean. You have use of kayaks and rowboat. There were also yard games. The beach was well maintained as were the grounds around the cabin. The owners were very friendly and easy to get ahold of. It was very peaceful and pretty quiet. We liked it so much that we rebooked for next year. Highly recommend!

What a great place for some much needed R & R! My sister and I had a wonderful time. It was quiet and peaceful and there were lots of fun things to do. We didn’t make it to the fire because we got caught up putting together a puzzle..maybe next year because we plan on coming back! Thank you!!

Have been coming to Pine Lake Cabins for 25 plus years Have always enjoyed our stay , especially these last 4 years that Rick and Marie have taken over, hate to say it but one of the best kept secrets in upper Michigan. Huge value with kayaks and wood for the fire . Great get away , clean cabins , uniquely decorated, great place great hosts great peaceful setting. This was our 3rd time staying at Pine Lake Cabins but our first time staying in cabin 2! We love it up at Pine Lake! Rick & Marie have many extras included in your stay that make it so fun. We love using the kayaks, community fire pit, volleyball net and horseshoe pit. We used our charcoal grill for lots of cooking so we saved on going out to eat. Our entire family enjoyed renting 5 of the 7 cabins for our group stay. The only suggestion we have is including a microwave in each cabin and upgrading the beds please!!! We are already planning our next family trip. Thanks again Rick & Marie.

I had been looking for a place like this for some time. It was great to find a secluded place with a small amount of cabins which resulted in fewer people, screaming kids and motor boat traffic. This place far exceeded my expectations and provided a relaxing time with a couple friends. There is no doubt that I will be booking again in the near future and have told a few friends as well.

We loved every minute!!! Thank you! Our only suggestion would be to please put in a rounded shower curtain rod so there is more room in the shower :)

Very peaceful relaxing enjoyable weekend

Once again, Pine Lake did not disappoint. Sunny days for swimming, cool nights for sleeping, family, fun, food and beautiful surroundings made for a perfect respite during the pandemic. Thanks for your hard work in keeping this such a nice vacation spot, Rick and Marie!

We came to get away for our anniversary (14th-he was right, Rick! lol) and it rained the next 3 days. We still enjoyed our stay and the quiet as well as the best view of the lake from the cabin! The lack of cell service (Sprint doesn't work well here) was not a problem for us and our laptop worked for anything we needed to contact back home about. The kitchen was perfect for preparing our anniversary dinner and dessert (all gluten free and from scratch) and made us feel right at home. We have been coming to Michigan for vacation for many years (we have family in several areas) and this is the first time we have spent time in this part of the state. The only upgrade we would recommend (which would then be a 10 on our list!) would be new mattresses and some cozy blankets for this time of year; but all in good time and we are sure you are working on those additions soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Thank you all, for a wonderfully relaxing environment. I was so excited that you provided kayaks, for exploring the perimeter of the lake. The bonfire was another bonus. Although I was too exhausted after the trail race to enjoy it, I noticed that several folks did build up a nice fire and sit out watching the sun go down. The best thing about it was that everyone there respected other visitors. No one got loud and obnoxious. It was just peaceful there, day and night. We were celebrating our 33rd anniversary, and finishing the trail race combined. I hope to do the same next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pine Lakes! Our cabin was cute, clean and in the perfect location. Ric & Marie are wonderful host's and do a great job in keeping the grounds/beach area clean! we had a good time fishing .Cabin worked out great.resort Had a nice dock for our small pontoon.We had plenty of room to park our trailers.owners where very helpful .We plan on returning next year.

We happened upon Pine Lake Cabins through a google search while looking for a reasonable place to stay to fish and kayak in the Baldwin area. We were not disappointed. This is truly a great little property. The owners Rick and Marie have done a fantastic job updating the property and it is a great destination for families and groups of friends alike. There are many attractions in the area within a reasonable drive and it was nice to come back to a nice cozy cabin and relax lakeside by the campfire. The community fire pit is a great amenity as we were able to connect with the other guests and have some great conversation. Row boats and kayaks are available to the guests for free and the fishing on Pine Lake is great. The Little Manistee River is just a 10 minute drive from the cabins and the 9 Mile Bridge to 6 Mile Bridge run is a great little kayak trip. Thank you Rick and Marie for being great hosts. We are already planning a return trip.

I have been going there for 39 years and would recommend it to anyone. The cabins are nice and well taken care of. The water is clear and beautiful, fun for fishing, swimming, kayaking or just hanging out. We had bonfires every night. We already booked for next year!!

The cabins are so nice and clean, #1 for us in importance. Peaceful surroundings, nice beach, clean and pretty lake. The owners are putting a lot of love into this property and I hope everyone who comes will want to come back and enjoy! We do:)
